This is a hand-wound Hamilton pocket watch made approximately 120 years ago. Inside the case, a photograph of a young girl is carefully affixed.
Although my primary passion is collecting Japanese sword fittings (tosogu), I purchased this piece several years ago at first sight. Perhaps I was drawn to it because, like fine sword fittings, it embodies meticulous craftsmanship and historical depth.
The Titanic sank in 1912, which places this watch in the same romantic and dramatic era of history. It evokes a sense of nostalgia and timeless elegance. The presence of the young girl’s photograph further enhances the uniqueness and rarity of this piece, adding a deeply personal and almost poetic dimension.
The watch was fully overhauled in 2019 and is in excellent working condition. There are only minor signs of age such as light surface scratches, but overall it remains in very clean and well-preserved condition.
The case is a gold-filled hunter case. Due to the weak yen, the rarity of Grade 933, and the recent surge in gold prices, the market value of such pieces has risen significantly. When I purchased it after the overhaul, including the chain, it was already quite expensive.

是一枚120年前制作的 Hamilton 手上表。表内有一少女的照片。
我平主要收藏日本刀装具（刀金工品），但几年前第一次到枚表便一情。也正因它与刀装具一，兼具精密工与厚的史气息，才深深吸引了我。
泰坦尼克号没于1912年，枚表正是那个代的物，因此更令人想到那个充浪漫与悲壮色彩的年代。它不是一枚工具，更是一件承月的品。内少女的照片，使枚表更添独特性与故事性，也一提升了其稀有价。
表于2019年完成全面保（Overhaul），目前走正常、状良好。除微月痕迹与小擦痕外，整体保存状况相当出色。
表金（Hunter Case）。受日元、Grade 933机芯稀有性以及金价持上等因素影，此作品的市价格近年来著攀升。我当初在完成保后入（包含条），价格已相当不菲。
